Avalon

A five-minute walk from Trevone beach, Avalon is a semi-detached, three-bedroom home transformed from a tired property into a welcoming coastal retreat. Extensions opened up the ground floor around a bespoke kitchen, while carefully positioned skylights brought daylight into previously dark spaces.

Original features were retained wherever possible, including a refurbished period staircase. Oak flooring and limestone tiles bring natural materials through the interiors, complemented outside by a Delabole slate roof and slate-hung features.

The courtyard combines a sunken hot tub, limestone slabs, terracotta brick paving and raised terraces, with an extended parking bay at the front. Award-winning garden designer Matt James designed the landscaping and carried out all the soft planting. Admire Construction delivered the renovation as main contractor, working with Coal architecture and design.
